I'm interested in Chicago rentals too. How about the north suburb of Chicago? Is there any rental demand there?

Congrats, that's an amazing deal. Just curious, if someone can afford those rent          (>2% rule), why can't they afford the purchase of the house?

Oh ya, my office computer is using the outdated IE8, that might be the cause too.
I get this error too whenever I use my office computer, I'm suspecting my office computer block outgoing message. I have no problem using my phone or personal computer.

When you see robots taking up most jobs, when financial institutes no longer need the whole 50-60 stories towers to house their workers, instead only a warehouse to cool their super computers. Nobody can tell exactly when it will happen, however It is definitely a possibility and I believe google and many tech firms have this vision long time ago.

As for land price reduction, technology will make human redundant, so human population will reduce substantially and substitute by technology and robot (making more economic sense to produce robots than producing human). When human population drop drastically, land price will drop significantly too.

I'm thinking to start off with them, but when I check the location in Trulia, the crime heat map is at the highest, that's way too risky for me as an out of country investor, oh well keep looking then.

@Mark S.

The guy from this group also called me, one red flag I notice is they don't give referrals. so it's a deal breaker for me.
