. I agree — real estate is hyper-local, and identifying those “path of progress” areas can be a real game-changer, even if they’re not quite A neighborhoods yet.

As for SROs or multifamily setups, I get that they’re not for everyone. I’m not necessarily leaning that way myself, but I want to explore all options to build a strong foundation early on. It’s all about where I’m at in the journey and what kind of risk-reward I’m willing to take.

Appreciate you chiming in — always good to hear how different investors approach the game.

in terms of house hacking in northern New Jersey (or in general) which type of property is more likely to appreciate in a good area, a single family home, duplex, triplex, extc. Or if the area is top notch (A/B class neighborhood) will they all appreciate relatively the same ? 
Also, I understand that you can rent by the room house hacking a single family home, but how likely is that? Is it easier/more realistic to house Hack multi family unit
