Hi Jennie, I have been in that field for 32 years.  Ready for a change and real estate is it.  I am getting a great education here on bigger pockets.

I am new to Houston from Chicago and want to get into real estate flipping as well as buy and hold.  I have a rental property in Illinois.  I want to give my children the gift of property so I am looking for some properties to leave for them. 

I want to find something in Katy, Sugar Land or Cypress.

@Johnnie Hopkins how did your contractors work out?  I'm new to Houston and looking to do some fix and flips.  Any advice?
