Hi everyone....glad to have become serious about investing in rental real estate property.  I'm currently in the northeast but come to the Houston area often due to family and after many years of analysis paralysis I am ready to make the leap.  I am reading Dave Meyer's book Start With Strategy and appreciate the breakdown of information.  I am looking to make my first purchase this year...preferably a single-family or duplex.  I'm familiar with Katy and Fort Bend but also would love to learn about other areas such as Spring and Cypress.

Please feel free to say hello and I look forward to learning from all the members here

Hello. I am a newly interested real estate investor that decided to stop being on the sidelines and learn all there is about real estate. I have been interested in REI for several years but haven't made any moves due to "analysis paralysis." However, I decided that a change had to be made and I also saw the power in having multiple streams of income and the great concept of regaining my time and financial freedom.

I don't have any debt outside of student loans which will be paid off quickly. I am interested in buying condos and multi-family properties in the Philly metro area [mainly in Philly]. I intend to make these investment properties; no house hacking for me...lol. Initially I would like to start small and scale up over time. I am into the "buy and hold" type of REI. I am excited about this new journey and am ready to listen and act on all of the great wisdom and gracious members of this forum. Thanks for listening.
