@Tyreon Brown don't give up! Reach out to a bunch of local brokerages and interview with them. Put together a resume and tell them your goals and dreams. You can find a place that will pay for your schooling for you if you need. Brokerages are always looking for young talent as it is a great way for them to make money while helping you get started.

I just need one good start I’m going to try my best I’m very determined I know I can do it I know I can

@Tyreon Brown - at your age best to find a job within the industry. You will learn and get paid.

Many people want to become an agent; 85% quite within year one, from whats left almost the same number quits in year two. The job is very missunderstood by the public and most agents struggle to make a living - look up the NAR stats. However, some people love the job and the job loves them - they will do very well!

Age is a bit of a factor. Clients are looking for guidance and a trusted advisor to show them the path and re-assure them; I would say at least being out of your 20s helps with that.

I live in North Carolina sir I’m so happy you replied sir I just need one good start and I will never give up I promise I’m going to get my own place and car soon and take the class online to get my certification I just don’t know what to do after sir I want to be a very very successful real estate agent I just need help

@Tyreon Brown I would recommend that you immediately jump into the schooling required to become a realtor. Which state are you in? In Illinois, you can do this completely on-line so your schedule would not end up being an issue. Once you get the schooling out of the way, then you have the opportunity to get started in the business. Since you are going to need immediate income, it probably will make sense for you to join a team or a brokerage that pays a salary up front so you can learn the business.
