I think he may be low - but Zillow can many times be very high.  If you can raise the rent to be a positive cash flow after all expenses, maintenance and management, I would keep it (unless you see there will be a lot of cap-ex stuff or the place is falling apart). That is my two cents. You are a long way away also, so that adds to the issues.

Thanks Davon & Rachelle.

(I am assuming a vote is basically a thank you or a "like" on Facebook)

Hi, My name is Tyler and I am a new member to Bigger pockets. We currently have 1 single family (just rehabbed and rented) - although we have had 3 units in the early 2000s. My "real job" got too demanding and we decided not to stay in the market - dumb move, but we learn as we go in life. This should be our real jobs - so we jumped back in. The goal is to buy and rent a mix of single family, multi-family and apartments and end up doing this full time (and no more corporate America). I have a few multi-family properties that I have my eye on, but need to do a little more research on them before posting looking for some private money. Thanks and glad to be here. I have read many blog posts, listened to a few podcasts and read some in the forum so far. Much more reading and listening to do - but this seems like a great community. Wish I had found something like this on my first REI go-around.
