I have had a few meetings regarding the Jake and Gino mentorship. Before I go any further I wanted to gain some insight from existing or past members and see if you found it worth your time/money. Thanks!

Quote from @Kim Meredith Hampton:

@Tyler Watson seek out multi family mentors that have great programs for learning all about multi family; networking, underwriting etc…

Jake & Gino, David Monroe, Augie Schmidt. So many…..

Just signed up for Jake & Gino, thanks Kim!

I am a minor league baseball player and I have zero experience with multifamily other than what I have read on it. I understand the best thing to do is start but I feel unequipped to take that jump and was curious if there were any ways for me to learn hands on without being the risk taker so I can feel better doing it on my own in the future. Thanks!

I would start to go to local networking events. You can look here on BP for some, on Facebook, or your local university. Through doing that you can find a mentor. Even if you just get coffee with an investor who is doing what you want to do, that will benefit you greatly. If you have not already read “Rich dad, Poor dad” by Robert T. Kiyosaki that is a great book to start out with. Start listening to the BiggerPockets podcast starting at the very beginning.

I appreciate the info! Been a long time listener of the podcast but never thought to go all the way back to #1, good tip. And will be at the next networking event in my area.

I live in AZ, looking to purchase and develop raw land. Very new to this strategy and would love any help, teaming, or mentoring!
