@Aaron Norris, @Brian Grant Thanks for the recommendation! And Aaron, definitely correct in that this area is a completely different type of heat, ha.

Brian, I'm currently out at one of the military bases out there. I feel similar to you in the Barstow doesn't have much to offer, leading me to focus on the IE. I actually lived in downtown LA before I went to TX, so I'm vaguely familiar with the SoCal region.

Good Afternoon All!

Just wanted to introduce myself here! I just moved here from Central TX where I was seeking to buy residential multifamily properties.

I saw there are a variety of meet-ups in the San Bernardino/Riverside/Orange County areas, and was wondering if there were any you guys preferred? I'm still looking to buy residential multifamily properties and I'm thinking about the Inland Empire due to proximity, though as I'm new to the area, I'm sure you guys know better than me. Are there cities/neighborhoods in these counties that seem to be better for investors? Also, are there certain types properties (SFH vs multifamily) that seem to be better deals here?

I appreciate any help in getting the lay of the land!

Tyler
