@Donnie Thomas that area is booming I hear. Subdivide and sell to developers.

@Alfred Harris This is pretty typical. Banks don't like lending to LLC's you will need to go out to a private lender or buy in your name and transfer to the LLC but be careful of that as it could trigger due on sale clause.

@Donnie Thomas where in Florida? I think that where you are could determine if it makes sense to subdivide the property into smaller lots to build on.

@Huan Yan I assume you mean multi family of 4 units or less. If so then yeah this is pretty typical from a bank.

@Matt Dittman I would think you would want to keep them forever or until the mortgage is paid off so 30 years. However I would think you would at least want to hold it for 5 years. but that is my personal opinion. Just because you plan to relocate doesn't mean that you would have to sell. Get a property manager or build a group of repair men and vendors you would need to be able to manage the property remotely yourself.

@Jay Yoo I am an investor and realtor here in Orlando. I have been living in Orlando for the last 7 years now and have been through several large hurricanes. My wife and I have not had any structural damage to any of our properties. Hurricanes tend to have slowed down by the time they get to Orlando. That doesn't mean that they can't still do damage but if you are out of a flood zone then you should be fine. Send me a message and lets connect. I would be happy to help in any way I can.

@Jasmine Hu I am Realtor here in Orlando and live Close to this area. It has pockets of C+ neighborhoods and other areas are D-. Shoot me a DM of what exactly you are looking at and I could give you a better answer as to what the neighborhood is like as well as what potential rent range would be.

@Hilary Stalder how much did you end up renting the unit for? I would think that $1350 is good but not the top of the market. I would expect a 2/1 to be closer to 1500 in winter park.
