Hi, everyone my name is Tyler. Recently like many of you have decided to do in the past I read "Rich Dad Poor Dad" and it has sparked a true desire to learn more and more about real estate I have also read "The Millionaire Real Estate Investor" prior to reading RDPD. To be honest my knowledge on real estate is so slim I don't even know if I could say I have have any knowledge as far as real estate goes. What little experience I do have is minor home renovations such as painting rooms and caulking base boards. I have ordered some more books to further my real estate and financial education. I Live in Southern California and am currently a full time student. Im wanting to get a job or internship in the real estate industry. I do not care what it is as long as Im in an environment where Im exposed to a lot of information. I understand that, that might be pushing papers getting coffee and answering phones, that doesn't bother me as long as Im learning I want to work somewhere, where Im constantly learning. I have contemplated working at a realtors office that is privately owned. In my experience privately owned business treat you much better than franchises, previously I have worked in the restaurant industry and that statement is highly true. I've also thought about getting a job or internship at a property management company, possibly a holding company. Im sure there is other places where I could learn a lot about the industry that I don't know of so any suggestions would be awesome.
Thank you for your time.
