Hello fellow investors,

I have been on this site for almost a month now and been reading the blogs, articles and listening to the podcasts. I connected with few people and been gaining all the valuable education.

I have reached a point where I am ready to start looking at properties, start analyzing the deals and get my first rental property under my belt.

I wanted to reach out and check on what neighborhoods in Chicago you all recommend. I am based in Chicago downtown. I am looking to go north/west towards Ukrainian village and Logan Square but am open for recommendations.

Also, if there are realtors out there having experience working with newbies, do give me a shout and I would love to catch up for a coffee.

@John Mathewson Thanks John for the note. For sure there is ton of great information here. Its more like information overload. Would we awesome to meet up and hear how you went about doing your first deal. I think once you get your first deal under the belt - the rest should be easy and then know what questions to ask and what information to look for.

Do you make your way to Chicago downtown - if you do lets meet up.
