Thanks for the welcome, @Adam Mittermeier . That's awesome. Do you guys invest long distance? If so, where at? DFW is a hot market with a number of competitors. Great opportunities are everywhere though.

Hi @Michael Guzik. I appreciate you sharing your insight on real estate and the wholesaling component. I understand there are mixed opinions on wholesaling -- but I personally find it fascinating. To me, learning how to find leads, assessing a property, and negotiating the deal is fundamental in real estate. The wholesale aspect is a fairly low risk for me at this time but will really accelerate our trajectory when learning these fundamentals. Would love to learn more about what you do while we're both here in SA. Let me know if you would like to link up in person!

Great success story. Again, tons of learning, failing, repeat. I’m glad you stayed persistent with this and went through the hoops to find a way to make it work. Thanks for sharing your story, Skylar. Look forward to hearing more positive news from you.

Hello everyone!
My name is Tom and my wife is Tuyen. We are aspiring real estate investors who recently moved to San Antonio, TX. In the midst of moving, we also purchased our first home and have caught the real estate bug ever since! We came across BiggerPockets through a friend and have been educating ourselves on all things related to RE through the podcast, books, and networking with other local investors. We are very excited to be a part of this positive and vibrant community!
At this time, we are interested in learning more about wholesaling in the San Antonio market. We hope to build this skill set of finding great discounted deals while providing timely, efficient, and genuine value to those we work with. Our goal is to help assist motivated sellers in resolving their problems and getting them taken care of by connecting them with genuine investors/buyers.
On a separate note, we are also interested in investing long-term in the DFW market with our good friend and business partner, Minh, who lives in Dallas. To start, our goal is to invest in at least one MFH in 2019.
During the day, I work as an Environmental Science/Engineering Officer for the U.S. Army and my wife works as a nurse.
We are interested in connecting with like-minded investors as well as those who are looking to mentor highly motivated individuals.
It's great to meet everyone here and we look forward to connecting with you all! Thanks for your time.
