J Scott I saw your reply you made to this post 2 years ago in regards to partnering with new investors to bring in the cash to close & experience while the newbie brings hard work & a good deal to the table. Also, I'm not far from you. Would it still be possible to connect & partner with you?

Good afternoon, I'm still new to the BP community but I've been doing a lot of reading throughout the forum. Since recently closing my first commercial business I have plenty of free time & decided it's time to become fully involved as an investor. My first goal is to supplement my current income with cash flow from rental property. My initial thought was to acquire a single family, rehab, and rent. But from my research here it seems as though obtaining a multi-family would make more sense for creating cash flow and less headache by having a property management company involved. I'm located in the thriving market within the DC metro area, but I am open to all markets.

Thanks Crystal Smith . My current focus is learning the ropes of wholesaling / flipping. The rest was a brief outline of future projects I look forward to.

Good evening,

My name is Treveon Blue. I am new to the community and and I'm here looking to network with the right seasoned professionals to build lasting relationships, execute deals, and more importantly to gain knowledge to help me with future deals. My goal in RE is to begin with wholesaling, flipping, and any other methods I may not be aware of to build liquid capital. Acquire properties to buy, rehab, and rent or sell. Also from reading other posts in interested in acquiring a multi family via a FHA 203k loan to own and occupy. Rent 3 units. Live in one, to have a stream of passive income and be free of living expenses, then later begin the process of condo conversion and sell. I'm only 24, and I am always open to learn & meet new people. After years of getting "the run around" on other so called informational sites (which only amounted to me funding someone else's income) I look forward to the bigger pockets community being the best kept secret niche of like minds I see it to be & I look forward to connecting with you all!
