@Sheryl Gurvey

Thank you! I can already tell that, and I haven't even been on here long. I've checked out a few of the podcasts already, which ones do you reccommed listening to first?

As to what part of Atlanta I'm interested in, I haven't fully thought that through yet, but I'm in the process. Ideally I would like to start around Marietta, Stone Mountain, places like that just because they will probably be more affordable for me starting out. Eventually I plan to build up to inside of the city. But I'm not opposed to starting anywhere.

How did you get started in real estate investing?

I am looking to find someone who is an active real estate investor willing to be a mentor for a young, self motivated guy that is wanting to get started in this great business. I am eager to learn from anyone willing to teach. Thanks in advance!

I am 19 years old, and just made the decision to get into real estate investing a couple months ago. Right now I am trying to find a mentor, reading a lot of books, and just researching online and here. My plan is to start a LLC and buy my first property within the next year: I want to start out buying foreclosures and rehabbing them to bring them back to life then rent them out. I would like to have majority of my income coming from rental properties. One of my long term goals is to own at least 10 rental properties by age 25. Eventually I plan to buy multi family homes that needs renovations and wholesale them. I am currently in college getting my degree in public relations and business marketing. Although I'm getting a degree I don't want to have to work for someone my whole life, I would rather build an empire for myself than help build someone else's.

Hello everyone I recently moved to the Atlanta area; I haven't gotten started in real estate investing yet, but I definitely know I want too. Right now I'm in the process of reading and researching about the I market, and trying to learn everything I can. I am a young, motivated person who is eager to learn from anyone willing to teach. I am currently a college student majoring in public relations, and getting a minor in business marketing. I have always had a passion for real estate since I can remember, and finally decided this is the route I want to take. I would love to find someone willing to mentor me and let me learn a lot from them. I am excited and looking forward to meeting new people in this business. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
