Hi,

My name is Travis Hayes and I am newly active on bigger pockets after a while of lurking. I am a 25 year old consultant in Austin, TX but am interested in Multifamily Investment in Houston, TX. I am from Houston originally but am looking for a recommendation for a Realtor in Houston that specializes in Du/Tri/Fourplex's. I look forward to meeting many of you and appreciate any recommendations!

Hi BiggerPockets community! My name is Travis Hayes and I am looking for a recommendation for a Realtor in Houston that has experience with Du/Tri/Fourplexes.

I am a 25 year old currently live in Austin, TX and working as a Manufacturing Consultant but am from Houston originally. I am looking for a small multifamily property in Houston to get started in Real Estate and would love any recommendations for Real Estate Agents/Lenders/ Etc.

Thanks!

Hello Houston Biggerpockets Community,

I am currently on the hunt for a mentor in Houston that has experience with Multifamily units, preferably 10+units. I have attended a few REIA and similar meetings and felt that they were mainly geared towards Single Family Home investing. Are there any groups/meetups that any of you would recommend? Do any of you have experience in this area that would let me pick their brain over lunch(my treat)?

Hello BiggerPockets Community,

My name is Travis Hayes and am from Austin, Texas. Currently, I work as a consultant but am interested into learning about and entering the Multifamily real estate investing world.

Currently, I am learning and analyzing properties in the Austin, Texas and Houston, Texas markets as these are the ones that I am most familiar with.

Properties that interest me are B/C properties between 6-25 units. Typically, I look for properties that have some value add play and can be obtained at a 7-12 percent cap rate.

If you have any advice for someone relatively new, do not hesitate to reach out. Look forward to meeting some of y'all.
