@Travis Gutting I wouldn't let someone discourage you from investing in an area, but rather do your own due diligence and decide for yourself. Some of the best investments can be found in neighborhoods where you may not want to live, but the numbers support it! 

But with that said, what is your ideal area of town to invest?


I am interested in any other part of town other than downtown. I have also been looking across the bridge in Indiana.

I am new to property investment and am currently looking into getting my first property. I have been looking on the MLS for a while now and have not had any luck. What are the best methods for finding potential properties outside of the MLS?
