What is the reserve requirement? I think that's a bigger problem for new investors than experience.

Hey @Liz Hawkins the property is located in the Des Moines Area.

Hey gang, I need details or an agent that can let me know what it would take to get my primary residence listed on the MLS. Looking to sell FSBO. PM me or let me know on here. Cheers, TC

@Brett Sorenson

I appreciate the feedback, I think to kick things off i was planning on keeping the price range around the $100k range on a SFD - potentially slightly more on a multi family home. That's approximately where i stand at this point.

Hey @Cody Dover

I love that advise!

Learning from your mistakes is one of the best ways to grow in any professional environment - and i think i am passed the skepticism part and excited to get out there, grow my network, and find that first deal!

Hey @Glenn D.

Coming in from the great white north, I hope you are staying warm in the tundra up there! :)

Hopefully my lending background will translate somewhat into the investing business, my lending knowledge i would hope also helps when it comes down to trying to get private money.

Hopefully i will have some success stories to post about in the near future.

Thanks for the feedback @John Woodrich, while hunting down the first property i am planning on doing a lot of networking at the same time. And i would plan on financing the rehab costs to keep as little out of pocket as possible and quick turnaround times, all while working with contractors in the area searching for quality work as well as a good deal to build a rapport with.

I better get a fresh pair of Nike's to go deal hunting with. :)
