Post: What's the current landlord insurance cost in Kansas City, MO?

HI all, I'm shopping for a landlord insurance policy for a single family house with a new roof. I've gotten estimates from AllState, Stillwater, Travelers and Liberty Mutual. Annual premiums range from $1844-$3,052 with deductibles $500-$2,500. Is this the current price for insurance? Does anyone have recommendations for getting a lower price?

@Sarah Stamper , which turnkey company did you purchase from? How was your experience and do you still have that property?

@Peter Schuyler Sorry to hear that you loss money. Can you share where these properties are located? Also did the numbers that Norada published match up to your own calculations and experience?

@Jamie Yan, welcome to the community! I am also new.

What made you decide to focus on DFW? Do you plan on rehabbing properties?

@Zach Lemaster , according to https://www.deptofnumbers.com/..., Cape Coral had a 10% vacancy rate in 2019. How does that compare with what you're seeing today? You mentioned the new builds have taken 6-8 months to complete. Due to the pandemic, there has been a shortage and increased cost of building materials. Has that impacted this 6-8 time period and the $238k asking price?
