Looking at buying a short term vacation home rental property in Captiva / Sanibel, curious if there’s any areas to look at specifically, or areas to avoid? Anything I should know about the area beforehand? I’ve been along time ago but hoping someone who’s spent more time in the area can shed light on any nuances. Thanks in advance!

My family and I live / invest in Minnesota, but we come to Rincon / Aguada every winter, and we are ready to start investing in PR as well.  Is there a local meet up?  Can someone do a few introductions for me so I can start getting to know others actively investing on the island?  Thank you!!
