@Ryan E. Sweet! Thanks for all of the advice! A dilemma I'm faced with: I own my condo currently. not looking to move out, however I do like the 4plex ideas. I'm guessing i can bounce between homes if needed

@Ashton Sharp That is great advice. Thank you for that. I begin work on Monday and will start off as an engineer making decent money. I have minimal expenses and set myself up to have little to no bills. Finding cash flow deals in my area are tough and CT is expensive. However, I do have private funding and a pledged amount of $30k for partner investing. Looking to start with that as a down payment and little rehab

@John Acheson very very interesting strategy. I appreciate that. I've wanted to start my own LLC for a while. If you can elaborate, how does an LLC benefit the REI process? Are lenders more likely to approve loans?

@Chase Binnie slow and boring and passive is what I want! I'm not too much into flipping. However, i know it is a strategy most people use to buy bigger purchases

@Caleb Heimsoth I majored in engineering physics! I was actually just offered manufacturing engineering position yesterday! So I'll be starting Oct 1. I need to create a nice budget in order to save to investments

@Chris Purcell thank you for your response! Connecticut is very expensive and I am looking to possibly look out of state. However I know it may be harder to look out of state. However, a flip in CT can be very profitable
