Jordan Moorhead Awesome, great insight on that. Did you go through a real estate agent to make the purchase or was it though a wholesaler?

Jordan Moorhead Congratulations on your success with your multi-family investment! If you were to compile a brief list of do's/dont's and pros/cons of your house hacking adventure, what would you say those are? I recently got pre-qual'd through a lender and am seriously considering starting off my investing career with a multi-family unit here in Phoenix. Thanks, Tony

Hey everyone, thanks for the responses and words of encouragement! Sam Grooms I'm not aware of a Daniel being in my family but hey, who knows! Would be funny if I somehow ended up being related to the guy :). Andrew LeBaron Thank you as well, is the phone number in your signature a good contact number for you sir? I'm open to meeting with everyone when time permits. I work Monday through Friday 9-5 basically and can make time after I'm off :).

Hello BP community! First off I want to say what a wonderful resource the BP forums and web site have been to me so far. My name is Tony Le Claire and I am new to real estate investing and am excited to learn and grow as time progresses. I have been serving in the Marine Corps Reserve for almost six years and also work full-time as a Mortgage Loan Officer for a large bank. The areas of REI I would like to focus on are wholesaling, as well as fix and flip. However, I never want to limit myself and am always open to opportunities that may present themselves along the way. I have a small amount of capital to invest with (25k), as well as excellent credit for financing purposes. My goal is to leverage these two options to help me enter into the REI world and increase my investment portfolio. I'm very interested in meeting other new and experienced investors in the Phoenix area, as well as attend local REI meet ups in the Glendale/Peoria area specifically. I am currently in the very beginning stages (Set up LLC, website, mailers, etc) and welcome any and all advice or experiences the members of BP would care to share so that I may learn and grow. Thank you for your time! Tony
