John- sorry thought I already responded here. thank you for the information, much appreciated. I'm coming off my last deployment in Japan, hence the questions. Be back in Atlanta here in a couple months and will be doing the in person investigating then. Just wanted to align my expectations with reality.

Is there an easy list of which zones can/cannot have renters for dekalb/fulton counties? For context, I'm planning on buying a home for a house hack in basement and renting out main floor. Will I be able to move out after a few years and legally rent both units?
