I don't know much about commercial construction, but with residential construction in LA all of my clients pay between $300-350 per squarefoot on new construction. One did get a quote for $200/sf but he didn't go with it.

I've been reading BP articles for a few years, so I don't know why it took me so long to join the network.

I'm a Realtor in Studio City, and I work with a few investors in luxury flips. I grew up flipping houses with my family though.
