Alton, thanks for the info. if I decide to invest in Detroit, you might be the first I reach out to.

What does everyone think about buying and holding in Detroit? I didn't do a lot of research on this yet. However, I know Detroit properties are really cheap and they don't all seem to be in the bad of condition. Is it worth it? Has anyone invested there yet or have an opinion at all? Thanks.

My name is Anthony. I'm a 28 year old investor in the Bronx who got interested in real estate about 2 years ago. I currently have one property that I rent out to a tenant. I only do buy and hold for now but i'm interested in learning about wholesaling. As for what I do, i'm an accountant/external auditor and former Marine. My goal is to work my way up from one family homes to multiple unit buildings. I look forward to learning a lot on here and getting to know like minded people.
