@Shawn McCormick Thanks for the suggestion! I assume CFRI is Central Florida Real Estate Investors (or something close)?

Hi all!

I am an aspiring investor in the North Orlando area. I'm currently getting my personal finances in order, but I would love to work with/under an experienced investor in the area to learn the business. I am looking for a part-time job, but would much rather work for dirt cheap with a purpose than to simply make extra money.

I'm an accountant by trade (my day job is the head of an accounting dept for an HOA management firm), but I'm willing to do even the most basic manual labor on the weekends for an opportunity to get my hands dirty with a BRRRR or flip, do any data entry/calculations/etc., or whatever is needed to be of service. I'm willing to drive anywhere in the Orlando area. If you have ANY need or space for an extra hand, please get in touch with me.

Thank you for your consideration!

First post... Hope this is in the right place. 😊

I'm a Central Florida resident & aspiring real estate investor, but I was born in & have family still in Jacksonville, NC. I know it's always been a small, rural Marine town, but they have been building up over the years.

I decided to look to see if it would be worth investing in the area, and the numbers look amazing in the outset. However, I have no idea what the demand for rentals is in the area. Can anyone tell me if rentals are staying vacant for long in Jacksonville & Onslow County? If we did purchase properties there, could we expect to find renters relatively easily? Thanks!
