Sorry new to this. But would a lender like Lower.com work with people in my situation? Or from what have you heard, they require proof of income based off of tax returns?

Are there options for HELOC with little income and good credit?. Paid off my mortgage for my house a few years ago. For my income, have an okay gross income but when deducted shows little income. Have an above 700 credit score. Are there options? I know a conventional bank would reject or approve a small amount. Looking for a large amount, and was thinking of a smaller bank or a credit union. I hope I get some helpful insight. Thanks, much appreciated.
