I am in the process of purchasing a property for flips. It sucks in vancouver but it's most likely going to be a apartment unit. Based on everyone experience on apt renovation. A renovated suite vs a normal how much more $$ per sf can you add? Thoughts?

Looking to meet some local investors. Currently interested in investing in flips / foreclosures. Anyone with some experience willing to offer some tips and advice? Thanks!
Hi Linda I am also interested in investing in the US. Probably have the same questions. Can you help point me to the right direction too? Thanks

My first forum post! I have been listening to bigger pockets for over a year now and I thought the next step would be to meet some cool like minded individuals. I don't know if there are many Local investors here from Vancouver Canada? I am very early in my real estate adventure. You could say I started 5 years ago and bought 2 pre built apartments in Vancouver. Then I bought a couple more in 2015 and 2016. After listening to more bp I realize i am more gambling then running a business. I must say I've been lucky these couple years but I really want to learn and understand everything about real estate investments. I own a couple businesses which fuels my early investments. It's still doing well but I just feel the potential is far greater if I can master this new exciting game. I don't want to be selling products and make $50 on each transaction. Just want to find something that can potentially make a lot more than that on one transaction. I'm getting married next year and probably kids right after so I'm very motivated to push forward. I'm driven and want to suck up all the possible knowledge. I am hoping to see what this forum is all about. And maybe to meet some cool people where we can share our experiences and support each other one way or another. I am a newbie so if anyone out there can help a brother out that would be great! All I have done up to this point is one flip. Nice to Meet all of you at bp forum.
