About the deal 18 units with an asking price of $2 million The seller currently owns $500k She is willing to carry the note but can I do a subject to to the $500k she owes? Any info or point in the right direction would be helpful Thank you! -Tom

I'm new to investing and will be making my first purchase soon, house hacking to be specific. What is a good way of determining an up and coming town? Before it begins increasing in value

I'm very new to real estate, looking to make my first investment this spring. What are the FHA requirements for multi family in Massachusetts? My income is the only thing holding me back to apply. Started a new 9-5 job at the bottom making $36k a year. If I buy a triplex, live in one unit, will the rents from the other 2 help me with me income issue as far as qualifying?

Thanks guys!

I am taking in everything I can now to see what road I want to choose, then I'll go back and intensely study that specifically. I didn't think about college rentals that's a great idea! I will go through the steps you gave me and attend REIA groups for sure, Rockland is a town over. I have a good background in construction anything I can do to help others I'm all in

Hey all! I recently jumped on biggerpockets and bought pro yesterday. Im dying to learn as much as I can. I've been doing a marathon of the podcasts and bought about 10 of the most popular books. I'm taking the real estate course next week to get my license, super excited! Im 30 and live in Boston, full time Union electrician. I've have had a passion for real estate for a long time, I just recently decided it's time to start. I want to do a combination of flipping houses and building a good multi family rental portfolio. Although I'm not sure if Boston is a good place to start due to the high prices. Im taking the time to map my road to achieve my goals. I'm passionate and extremely driven. Thanks biggerpockets for the endless excellent information
