I'm good as far as real estate is concerned, my problem is the Snowplowing business. I used to be one of the big boys in my area, but now every person that has a lawn mower also has a plow truck. I need to increase my online presence to get a chance to bid commercial properties in my area. Now big companies bid the whole or half a state and sub out smaller areas. That's my seo problem.

My name is Tom Evans (how ya doin?). I'm the owner of a small construction company in Mansfield Ohio. The company consists of construction, chimney service, snowplow service, and real estate investing. My son will take over operations of the construction and chimney service part of the business as soon as I acquire 10 properties. We have 8 now and 1 in contract, so it won't be long before i'll only be in snowplowing and real estate. I'm only keeping the plow business for a w-2 income for credit reasons. I'm looking for someone with seo knowledge that is interested in real estate.

My expertise (or from now on is referred to as my lane) is in buy and hold sfh's. My advantage in real estate is we can do 99% of the renovations ourselves. We only buy homes in our area and about 50% of our customers are section 8. Our homes cost between $16,000 and $50,000 depending on renovation costs. In the last couple of years the homes have gone up in value 25 to 40 percent. If this sounds like a lane you want to know more about, keep reading.

Back in the day most of our advertising was done through the phone book ( yes youngsters, we had to go through a book to find a plumber). Now we have to have websites and be present on all forms of social media. I have tried to educate myself with books and podcasts, but it looks like you can't make a race horse out of a plow horse. This is my attempt to find someone that I can exchange knowledge with. If you are this guy or gal, get in contact with me.

In conclusion, I must warn you that I know just enough to be dangerous. I know what should be done, but I don't know how to do it. The seo help is for the snowplowing business. I hope I find mr or mrs right for this task.

Hi, my name is Tom and I'm a contractor/real estate investor in central Ohio. I purchased a website and had it designed two years ago. For the past two years we have been busy fixing up and renting single family homes. We reduced our presence in the phone book and now the search engines are not finding us. I have read about keywords, links, and blogs and have been working on these things for about two months. I don't mind paying for SEO, but all the companies that I have considered using don't seem to be using SEO for themselves. I "google" companies advertising SEO, and all of them within 60 miles don't come up until the 3rd or 4th page. So my theory is, if they are not helping themselves, I can't expect them to help me. This might be a little outside the normal real estate question, but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Has anyone ever tried or gotten a book published? The only feasible option I've found is Kindle. If anyone has any knowledge about this, please let me know. Thanks Tom

I'm from Ohio and was wondering if a property purchased at a goverent auction has a clear title. I am not familiar with any process to protect oneself against this. Please let me know if others have any knowledge or experience with this in Ohio.
