My wife and I will be moving towards of the end of this year from Texas to North Carolina for work. All of our family lives in TX, including our two college age children which will be staying. We have about $50,000 equity in our current single family home. I was considering refinancing the single family home, get the equity out, and then renting it with the thought of possibly returning to TX one day. Any recommendations? I am interested in getting in to real estate but currently have no properties. Any suggestions are appreciated.
