@Keith Courtney I'm curious about different vacation markets.  We like Sarasota so we have explored there, as well as the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area.  Right now, as we just purchased 2 places, we are stuck in an education phase until we come up with the $$$ for another place.

@Ayodeji Kuponiyi Thanks for the tips.  We've spent the last several months education ourselves, mostly via books, but also speaking with a couple friends who are involved in investing.

My wife & I just purchased our first 2 buy & hold rental properties & are excited to keep going. We like the buy & hold option but are also interested in attaining vacation properties we can not only rent out but can also use for our own family vacations. 

Investing for us is a means to an end. We have 4 children & have no interest in working into our 70s. We want to be able to retire when eligible & not look back!!
