Hello BP! So I started as I'm sure several REI's did, and read Rich Dad Poor Dad. It was like pouring gasoline straight from the distillation column on the small fire I had to start this new venture. I'm currently reading "Building Wealth One House at a Time" and "The Book on Investing in Real Estate with No (and low) Money Down". I also just purchased "The Book on Flipping Houses". Flipping and small renovations are what interest me at the moment, with a definite plan to buy and hold in the future. I'm wondering, what books do you recommend to someone new that has nothing at the moment but a desire to learn as much as possible?

Thank both of you for the advice! After doing some research on your points, I completely agree.

Hello everyone, I'm an aspiring investor looking for a little advice on taking the first step on getting in the game. I've been thinking of gettin my real estate license, solely for the purpose of investing. Is this worth doing? I know it's not needed, but I'm wondering if it would give me even the slightest advantage over not having it. Thanks in advance, and any solid recommendations on books to read are welcomed. I've been reading every spare minute and I'm becoming hooked before I've even begun!
