Someone else's large or aggressive dog on the other hand.....not so important to me as a businessman.

I hear what your saying and his paperwork says boxer mix.  He doesn't look like a pit bull and like I said he's lazy.  I have been living with my brother for the past 3 years in his home and we have hardwood floors on the first floor and they are not scratched by any means other than normal wear.  But believe me I completely understand it from a landlord's point of view as I would probably see things the same way if it were my rental property.

I had him at a townhouse complex when I loved with my brother and they had all his paperwork and nothing was an issue.  I wish I could buy a house but my girlfriend is trying to repair her credit at the moment and with just my income I can't get approved. I really appreciate all the advice and have tried a lot of the above techniques.  Just gotta stay with it that's all.

Thanks Rob, I have told everyone at every place we looked at so far I would get renters insurence and pay a non refundable fee for having the dog there.  My dog has health insurance and has his license in Attleborp so is approved through city hall for his breed.  They have him down as a terrior mix.

Greg, all I can say to that is my dog is a part of family.  He has been with me for 5 and a half years and been through everything together.  I know that answer might be easy for some people but I wouldn't just give my dog away to another family.

Hello all,

Just to keep things basic and simple, my girlfriend and I are looking for a place to rent around Attleboro, MA area.  It would have to be a 2 to 3 Bedroom that also accepts dogs.  I have a 6 year old rescue dog who is a mix and it very tough to find  places that will accept dogs, epically a mix.  He is very lazy and properly house trained.  Hoping someone around here knows anyone renting a place or has any information that could help us out.  Thanks so much,
