Where are you looking for property? $350k can go a long way in certain markets. Thought about long distance real estate investing?

Not financial advice, but if I were in your position, I'd likely pull out the equity. I've done this myself several times. Remember return on equity is 0%, so putting that money to work is the way to go. And you don't lose the equity -- you're transferring it to a new property that's generating income. 

Who cares about the interest rate if the numbers work? Are you able to cover the expenses of the higher mortgage payment (or at least offset with income from new property)?

It has started...it's been on a run since COVID hit. I don't want to park my money in dollars with the way the fed keeps printing money. Even if the price of bullion doesn't take off, it should outperform the dollar.

To clarify, my intent is to use the bullion to fund the down payment on the mortgage, not the full loan. 

Anyone here ever borrowed against Gold and/or Silver Bullion for purchasing real estate? If the price of precious metals is expected to go up (significantly?), it might make sense to invest more in bullion and then leverage it to purchase real estate. You'll be able to capture the appreciation of the metals, while also acquiring more property.

Does this logic make sense?

Wondering if anyone has experience and can lend insight. Also looking for recommendations for lenders. I've googled some, but haven't done a deep dive yet.

I have a lead on a 3/2 property in Heathsville, VA, but I'm not familiar with the area. Any investors operate up there?

It's a deal that I'd wholesale, but I don't know if there's cash buyers in the area. Price point would be under 100k.

Any info on that area would be appreciated -- trying to figure out if I should move forward.

I had an real estate agent ask if I provide finders fees for leads. What's the going rate?

 I checked with them. Unfortunately they don't provide NFIP insurance. Thanks anyway!
