I also invest in JC, TN and surrounding areas, my primary goal is buy and hold and am a W-2 earner. You could for sure pick up a small multi unit building with 20% down and do some re pairs with the HELOC. It's exactly how I got started, I now have 14 units and have my next BRRRR under contract to close in couple weeks!

Good luck message me if you have any questions.

Thanks

Is anyone using the 203k loan for investment propertys?

Also same question with the USDA rural housing loans for investors.

Just looking for folks with experience with either of these two loan options, how there experience was, would they do it again, any details someone would care to share I would greatly appreciate it!

I am new to Real Estate investing and trying to determine what market works best for me. My plan is to buy and hold single family homes and maybe a duplex or two but ,like everyone else I am looking for the best ROI and of course be cash positive monthly.

I am interested in the Spartanburg and Greenville markets and seeking a real estate broker that specializes in small single family homes for investors and or maybe a wholesaler in the area?

I would appreciate any input on who would be a good fit for this in the area. Thanks in advance!
