Can anyone tell me how I can use my 401k to finance rental property. are there private lenders that will use a 401k minus the penalties to provide you financing.

its the only cash I have to take the leap.

Thanks

How can I find a mentor in Massachusetts. Or should I bite the bullet and pay for one.

And does anyone have a recommendation or have paid for one they can recommend.

@Frank Patalano

Cash is holding me back and a good mentor

I have been listening to Dave Van Horn and Dawn Richiabaugh AKA note queen. I respect everyone on the BP site. I will be all over Scott Carson course. Thank you so much Logan and Dan.

@Logan Hassinger

My wife and are going to be purchasing our first duplex with in next several months. I would love to be able to run my own note portfolio, but do not have enough capital or education to do so. As far as paying for education I would pay for it, if I new it was not a scam.I do have plenty of capital to invest in my own education.

I trust the bigger pockets site. Here I learned how to evaluate properties and deal. I use there tool and attention local meet up that I have found on this site.

@Daniel Pinto

Hi Dan

I am from Ma. If the town does not have an as built or maintenance record this is probably a red flag. If you look in the basement where the pipe leave the home, and it’s headed under the patio, that is possibly where it is. The cover is usually about 12, off the basement. I use to install systems for many years, the camera is the way to go. Figure out worst case ( that would be replacing the system) then decide if it’s worth it.

I have watched a bunch of you tube, I have listen to the note queen. I really don’t want to put out 800.00 or more dollars to learn how to do this. Any suggestions.

Tim
