@Kevin Manz Thick Plastic?  Better than fabric?

Did you move the stone around yourself once it got dropped off?  I'm looking for something I can do without heavy machinery.

@Joyce Tavares. Think I would need a border for the metal fence areas? How many inches deep do you typically use?

@Matthew Paul so you would recommend putting down landscape fabric prior or not? It is kind of Sandy

@Frank Hinck Would fabric help to reduce the rock getting compacted into the dirt over the years? Or is it just not recommended?

So I just need to make sure my dirt is graded properly prior, and then dump it on.  That's great news

@Joyce Tavares That’s awesome. So you had someone dump it there and you just spread it around? That’s the kind of low maintenance parking area I’m looking for. Do you think it would have made a difference if you put down fabric prior? So it wouldn’t need to be refilled as often?

@Joyce Tavares  Would that be considered "Crushed Concrete"?  Looking for it at my local building material supply store.  Did you DIY or pay someone to handle it?  Would love to know how to proerly put down myself.

@Joyce Tavares Thanks for your response!  Looks nice!

Did you put down any type of landscape fabric down prior?  How long have you had it?
Did you do much to prep the dirt prior to putting it down?

Hello!

Tampa. FL.   I currently have an extra parking area on my duplex that I rent out on a M2M basis for those needing parking.  Its just a fenced in sandy/weedy area.  Right now is vacant and looking rough.

Was thinking I could just put down some landscape fabric and put down shell/granite rocks (whatever is cheapest and looks the best).  If I'm parking cars on this, is there anything more I need to be sure to do?

Is there another method out there that is cheap but will look better than what it currently does?

Should I just leave it alone?

Thanks!
