Right but my hopes were to find one on BP and go from there. The next REIA meeting in my city is next month.

Ok, so I am looking for local agents willing to help me with potential properties.

I understand things can get busy and I am willing to help you when I can.

Thanks in advance.

@Jay Barndt, thanks for the reply that is good info. Should I contact a real estate agent? And what are other good questions I should ask a bank?

Thanks,

Tim

Ok BP,

I was headed to my weekly prayer service and saw a vacant house on one of the streets I go to church. So I slowed down to try and get the address but was unsuccessful due to traffic behind me.

So when I got to church I pulled up google street view to try and get it that way. And bam! After looking up the house once I got the address I saw it was still in pretty good condition. But I was not satisfied with just that.

After prayer I decided to stop by again and check it out. So when I got there I noticed that the neighbor was outside. After a breif chat with him I found out that the couple who owned the house was from outta town and when the husband passed away the wife moved back home. Now the bank owns the home.

Sorry if it's a long message but now I need help on how to contact the bank about an offer. I have looked up the house on my county auditors page and know which bank owns the property.

Any advice would be greatly appericated!

Thanks in advance!

Brett,

That is all great info. I too am new to Wholesaling and had a few more questions that I was not quite sure about. But that helped me to better understand them.

I am sending out my first round of direct letters this week!

Thanks again.

If I'm interested in a home that is for sale with a realtor, should I go through them or still contact the owner of the home?

Which is the best way to get a good deal?

Hello everyone,

I'm Tim Johnson I currently have a full time job that is actually not bad with pretty job benefits. But real estate is something that I have wanted to do since high school. Bc I knew that was the true way to wealth.

Right now I am looking to do wholesales to get my feet wet. While setting up a power time to work on getting passive income then on to bigger and better ideals.

If you think you can help me or we can help each other please let me know.

Thank You
