Big property (10-15 acres)

Southwest (Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah)

10-12 custom built small (300-600sqft) short term rentals of varying unique architectural styles where the homes themselves would be an attraction for renters.

A corner acre to myself for my own home where I could live and work on designing more unique tiny houses.

Looking for advice on what type of funding to use on my first multi family. I have heard pros and cons for both avenues. Wondering if anyone has an opinion or personal experience they can lend to this topic.

Looking for opinions on the best areas to get into rentals in New England. I live in Worcester so that is mainly where I am looking but I have seen some great deals in the Woonsocket area which seems like it is a great commuter town for providence. Does anyone own rental property in Woonsocket?

Hi everyone,

I am fresh out of college and new to the investing scene. looking for some advice on where to start. A bit of background on my situation, I am currently working a W-2 job at an engineering firm and have been pre approved for a $525K FHA loan for a triplex or $475K for a duplex. I am currently shopping around for options and to learn more about the various markets around me. I am living in Worcester currently but have also been looking in Southbridge, Webster, Boston, Woonsocket, Providence, Springfield, and Hartford. I am not set on any particular investment strategy but feel like I would be most interested in some sort of value add situation as I know a bit about construction and would love to put in some sweat equity. Thanks. -Tim
