Hey Lexington area investors! Quick question: I'm looking for a good lawyer to help structure a new LLC. I've only worked with some general practice attorneys in the area, but would love to work with someone familiar with the ins and outs of REI. Any suggestions?

I couldn't find this question elsewhere, but it's likely been addressed. I'm considering buying a mixed-use building with apartments upstairs and commercial space below. I'd like to use a part of the commercial space for my property management office space. Will I be able to write off the use of this space much like a home office or if I was renting commercial space from someone else? Thanks for any insights!

I am a newer investor in Central Kentucky with a few SFRs and a duplex. I work full-time in the mental health field and am enjoying steadily growing portfolio of rentals.   My primary interests up to now have been focused on smaller residential buildings, but I plan to focus on larger and commercial units in the future.  I look forward to networking and partnering with other investors in the area.
