@Brandon L. Thank you so much for the warm welcome and great resources. I will definitely check those blog posts out and tell you what I think. I will be looking forward to asking you questions about REI in the future. It's always great to be able to bounce questions off of someone who is great at what they do and has in-depth knowledge about real estate. Thanks again.

@Nathan Gesner Glad to see that you made out okay. I have always been interested in real estate, so I don't think commitment is the problem. To be honest, something long-term sounds promising. IMO, it's better than relying on the rate race. Thank you for your honesty.

@Joshua D. Love it, we'll do. I have been doing exactly what you said. I have been listening to every podcast that I can and reading REI books. I already have read a few books and attended one of those Than Merrill seminars. I think I am ready to make a few cold calls and see where I really stand. I am so excited. Thanks so much!

Hello, I am a new Real Estate Investor from Atlantic County, NJ. A lot of the properties in my area are in pre-foreclosure. Although I am motivated to help the people in my area, I will be looking into other nearby markets. I am excited to be a part of BP. I have already met a lot of nice, helpful people and am looking forward to meeting plenty more.

When you began in REI, how did you know that you were ready to make offers and look for buyers? Did you wait until you got a complete understanding of REI? Or did you just jump in once you had a basic understanding?

I am a newbie to real estate investing and wanted to know whether I should cold call sellers on Sundays, or should I just wait until Monday morning? Any insight would be great. TIA

What are some of the things you wish you knew when you started wholesaling or REI?

@Will Long I told my friend that the other day. I need someone to hold me accountable. I think I might have to add that to my goal list. Thanks Will!

My main goal is to try to wholesale at least one property a month. This is a new part of my journey. I have no prior experience in REI, but I do have some knowledge in sales. Right now, I am trying to suck up every last bit of knowledge that I can.

I think one of the most important aspects of this business is doing great things for people and hopefully seeing returns in not only my bank account, but my network of partners and eventually friends.

There is a lot of foreclosure in my area and this could be a very viable opportunity for buyers sellers, and me (provided that I am able to do strategic deals). I am trying to learn all the ins and outs so that I can find a way to get the buyers and hopefully motivated sellers together.

@Matthew Perry Thanks for asking such a great question. It really made me think of my goals and what I plan to achieve in the next year or so.

@John Thedford I don't know if you were talking to me with the insult, but we clearly are not on the same page. Please stop mentioning me in your comments, so they will stop alerting me. I don't care about your opinions. I was clearly answering her question, so unless your name is LeAnn Davis we have nothing to talk about.
