Thank you so much! I am zoned. That much I did get out of the permitting center. I live not too far from the state offices so maybe I'll have to go poking around and asking more questions. When I went in they just handed me a packet to fill out for the master plan. When I emailed I got how many dimensions the road, spaces and how far everything needed to be.
I"m going to take these questions to the state tomorrow and ask, because I can't seem to find anything on the state websites. I'm think the problem might be that the rules are lumped under mobile home parks? I'm not sure.
When I first started my business plan I talked to a lady who open a park here in Rochester. I mostly asked about the business side of things. I didn't ask about how to get started. I do know that when they put things in they did it wrong and had to start construction over. Since I'm two miles away from them on the other side of the freeway, I don't know how willing she'd be to share info to a potential competitor. But on the other hand she might not mind, because she's retired and the RV campground is always booked.
So thank you for your help Belinda, these are some great questions. I really needed help going in the right direction, so I'm going to get these questions answered tomorrow.
