Hello All!

I am an investor and general contractor around the Triangle looking to network with more people. I'm not exactly new to BP but thought I'd post again to make some new connections. We've gone to TREIA and some Meetups and love them, but it's tough to make it to them sometimes, so I wanted to reach out on BP. We've been doing flips around the Triangle and have our first rental property in the works as well, so very exciting times!

I'm also a licensed and insured general contractor. We've done full-scale remodels, floor plan changes, additions, and custom homes. We are also investor friendly since we invest as well! Let me know if you'd like to chat, exchange ideas, or work together!

After searching for a bit and not finding anything, I figured I would post and find my answer. I currently am working on a deal with an FSBO in North Carolina (Johnston county if that helps). The seller has an acre with a house on it as well as another acre right behind the house. Both acres have different parcel numbers and tax info that I pulled off of the tax assessor's webpage. I am wondering if I can write both of them into a single contract rather than making two separate contracts for each parcels I've got the parcel #, address, deed book and page number, pin ID#, and the legal description. Can I just put all that info onto the contract? We are also paying all cash with no financing or anything. Thanks.

Thanks for the warm welcome @Christopher K. I will definitely be posting questions along the way. @Don Harris, I will definitely reach out to you when I am looking to do investing in Charlotte. I plan on starting out with my investing partner out in Raleigh and then moving on to maybe doing some on my own in Charlotte once I have a little experience.

Hi @Michael Macklin. I will be attending the meeting next Tuesday. I believe it is the main meeting at the Embassy Suites. I figured the main meeting would be the best one to go to to meet people. Hope to see you there, and good luck to you as well!

Hi @Dawn Brenengen! I will be partnering to start up with a friend of mine in Raleigh who knows the markets there and has more connections around there than I do in Charlotte. His company does work for some investors in that area, so I figured we may be able to get some good guidance from them when we start out. As we get more experience, I plan on starting to do deals in the Charlotte area as well.

Hello All,

My name is Thura Han (go by Pete) and I am a new and aspiring real estate investor in North Carolina looking to do investing in the Raleigh area. My goal is to start with fix-and-flips and eventually get into buy-and-holds. I don't have any experience in REI, but I am an eager student that is ready to jump in and go into investing fully. I have been living and breathing REI books, podcasts, and blogs for a while now, and I think now is the perfect time to move forward with my plans (starting with introducing myself here!). I will be at the TREIA main meeting, and I hope to meet and network with other investors in the area. BP has been an excellent resource for me to learn from, and I hope to get to know everyone better. Good luck to all!

Pete
