wow great help guys! My brain is absorbing so much info on this site its overwhelming at times. im pretty sure that my niche is cash flow investing. so heres a question, I want to start with a triplex. Purchase price is 200k, it needs minimal work. Assesed at 215k. how would a hard money lender help me in this situation? say for a down payment. how do I pay back with interest if theres not much equity to pull out and pay back? what would be the best ways to acquire this property? FHA? conventional? equity in my own home? Again thank you for your knowledge, its very helpful.

Matt

I'm not sure what "6 months of reserves on all properties" mean. Thank you for responding.

I'm looking to buy 3 unit and 6 unit apartment house investments for cash flow in MA., RI., and CT. area. Along that area off I 95. I bought a house 2 years ago at a short sale for my primary residence. It has a bit of equity in it now. My question is, Should I use my equity for down payment on other property? I'm doing a ton of landscaping to my place now and my savings is low. Thanks for your support. Matt

I accept BP with open arms as my key to future success in real estate! I was introduced by a friend two weeks ago and now I am addicted to BP Podcasts! However, I accidentally started listening to them backwards haha from newest to oldest. I'm on podcast 24! So all of BPs developments in "quick tip" and "final four" is hilarious!
