Hello Allison,

Short Term Rental regulations tend to vary by specific by city/towns/districts. So zoning ordinances in Hammond may be much different than New Orleans for example.

I would defiantly do some research on tourism trends in Hammond. Hows the seasonality in Louisiana? Will it generate good cash flow year round or just a small period of the year? AirDNA is a great tool I have been playing around with. It should give you all that info!

I am by no means an expert and still learning myself, but I hope that information helps you out. Good Luck!

Best,

Hello Kevin,

Thanks for your reply. I pleasure to meet you! I am most interesting in focusing on Short Term Rentals but I keep seeing some great things on BP about Househacking. Ill defiantly have to do some 101 research on it!

Im thankful for any resources or experts you can pass along to me to support my interests. Thanks!

Amazing Savanna, Congrats!

I will be sure to check out Craig Curelop's book on househacking.

Would you be interested in connecting with a newbie? I would love to hear more about this investment and specifically some details on the FHA loan.

Have a great rest of your week!

Hello BP,

I hope everyone is having a great week! I am just starting our my journey in Real Estate Investing and looking to connect with local investors/agents in my community. Getting started so far has been intimidating, and it would sure help me alot to be guided in the right direction by experienced folks.

I would love meet up for one of these outdoor events in the next couple months, or just get a cup of coffee will work. :)

My specific interests are Short Term Rentals and House Hacking.

I look forward to seeing what is out there for me!

Hey Aaron,

I hope you are doing well! Im in the same position you were in two months ago. I’m looking to connect with fellow local investors and agents to learn more about the Denver market. I hope you have made some progress and maybe have some tips to pass along to a newbie like myself. :)

I look forward to connecting soon!
