Very true... there is definitely an art to politics. One that is very difficult to master apparently. To me its simple. Decisions should be made for the good of the many rather then the few....

Joshua,
Great blog, thats wonderful how you have laid out a solution for homeowners.

I espeically like the WJR radio station where they are saying the gov should make it desirable for the home owner to stay in his home. What sense is there to have the monthly payments go up as the value goes down. What were they thinking!!!

This is not my situation but my husband and I do have a mortgage that we were hoping to have paid off by now.

Hal,
Thanks for the post. That is a great movement. Lots of information.

The problem may have started before 1950. The reason I think that is that there is one state doing well, North Dakota. They are the only state that has a state owned bank. They did that in the early 1900s.

lol yes can be that way Karen. I think that's how the gov got in this mess in the first place was they tried to rob the poor middle class people which is really stupid. The gov knew that those people would not be able to pay for those houses especially that they sent most of the jobs overseas. Then they could claim the property back right before it was paid for. How disparate is that. I'm glad it changing. Something that stupid can't work.

Karen,
That's so true but ultimately it comes down to what we create in and around our lives because the real truth is that there is plenty for everybody. It's just our programing that makes us believe that there is not enough. Nature is always very lavish and provides more then enough. The evolutionary process is not a system but rather an access to knowledge that will help us learn and grow.
