An umbrella policy you can just add on to you own insurance. Are you planning on hiring a property management group because they will have some liability insurance.you may just be able to use a agent where you live. I have 2 agents I use in Milwaukee. Let me know if you still need an introduction.

Yes I am hiring a property management. Also, I'd definitely appreciate a connection with your contacts. Thanks for the help Jeff!

I will give them a call. Thanks!

Understood. Thank you, Greg.

Welcome Lou. I am CA based, but in escrow for my first rental property in Milwaukee. As others have said, this is such an invaluable resource for anyone! Feel free to reach out.

Any referrals for insurance companies in Wisconsin? I am hunting for landlord or umbrella insurance policies. Currently in escrow for a duplex in Milwaukee. Any counsel or suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,

I would like to some recommendations for an agent specializing in the SE Wisconsin area; someone who is willing to/enjoys working with out-of-state investors. I am based out of California. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,

I am a motivated brand new investor (and home buyer for that matter), but have been around RE investor friends & family for years. I am in California, but I'm interested in out-of-state properties - parts of the Midwest/Southeast mainly. I'd love to pick the brain of a passionate and seasoned investor! I've been doing much of my own due diligence and research, but I can only do so much before wanting to hear some personal testimony.

I have some questions regarding contacts and process - lenders, "RE friendly" agents, inspections, etc. The whole gamut!

Who would be open to a conversation? I appreciate any and all bits of advice.
