Hey, my name is Jason. I'm in my early 30s and new to real estate investing. Been listening to the podcasts I found on youtube on my way to and from work and am really enjoying them. The first video I watched was Brandon Turner's story. Afterwards, I googled him, stepped out of my shell, and sent him an email. To my surprise the guy responded back to encourage me. Anyway, after a few weeks I finally signed up on here. I'm devouring books at a rate of one per week or so. Just finished The Millionaire Next Door and today started The One Thing. Looking forward to learning from you all. I own one property, just finished a refi on it. I'm aggressively trying to pay off the last $23k (down from $40k+) of consumer debt my wife and I owe on student loans, a credit card, and car payment. I'm hoping to be debt free minus the mortgage in 5-9 months all the while increasing my knowledge of this business. Our next goal is to buy another property, rehab it, move in, and cash flow our current home.
