Sounds great, must have missed the memo on the meet up the other day. Excited to met some locals that are into the RE investing realm. 

Welcome, also a lifetime Tulsan here.  I am in the rental biz as well. I would say 4th and sheridan may be perceived by Tulsans as a bit of a sketch area. You have to look at the rental market directly around TU from a certain perspective. Yes it is near downtown and brookside but an increase in rentals at this time during summer when school is out is not necessarily a bad thing. Many of the rentals in that sub-market are probably available right now since students travel back home. That also may be something you want to consider that you may not have students there during the summer if that is the market you plan to serve.

Greetings, 

I am a newbie investor in Tulsa, OK. a recent graduate of Oral Roberts University. I have been a Residential Loan Originator for a little over  a year. I was thrilled to find this site, and have gleaned so much from the podcast. Looking forward to getting more involved on the forums!

I am beginning my career as an investor through single family residence with a buy and hold strategy.  My wife and i are in the middle of purchasing our first rehab project in the next month, cant wait to dive into this journey!
