 Hi Lisa,

We recently did some rearranging on the site. What was called BPInsights now exists as the Rent Estimator and Pro Exclusive articles. The Rent Estimator can be found here or by going through the top nav to Tools > Rent Estimator. Pro articles (also known as Expert Analysis) can be found here or by going through the top nav to Education > Read > Expert Analysis. We used to have "Data Downloads" as part of BPInsights; those downloads are now embedded within their relevant Pro articles – these are available to Pro and Premium members.

I hope this helps!

Thank you for the feedback.  However, this platform does not appear to provide what was promised.  I am looking to analyze different regions locally and regionally and cannot find the data.  This was readily available in the old format of BPInsights.  If it is within an article, I would be quite grateful for your guidance. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Scott

Can anyone recommend a lender that offers 5% down conventional (not FHA) loans on an owner occupied multifamily property?

Thank You,

Quote from @Tom Malloy:

We recently bought a washer and dryer from a coin operated laundry operator.  They were $500 & $600 each and used.  These are hardworking machines that can go the distance.  I wouldn't buy new if I didn't have to.  Good way to save some money on proven machines.

Thanks Tom! What company did you purchase them from?

I recently bought a 3 unit that has a hookup for laundry in the basement and am looking into putting in coin operated laundry.  I read a post from 2017, but the primary rental company recommended (B&B Laundry) appears to be out of business.   I have also considered purchasing, which looks to run $2200-$3000 for both the a washer and dryer.

Does anyone have suggestions for locations to rent or buy?

It was located in Summit, but it looks like it wouldn't be feasible to add another unit.  Thank you everyone for your input!

Has anyone converted a two-flat to a three-flat?  If so, what is a guess on adding The building I am looking at has a very spacious attic (7 foot peak) and I am considering converting it into a 3rd bedroom or adding a whole other unit (assuming the title and zoning allow it).  The property is in a Chicago suburb.

Does anyone have a guestimate on what this would cost?

Thank you.

I need a referral for a GC for a HomeStyle Loan who can do/oversee plumbing and flooring on a foreclosure. The property is in NW Indiana near Cedar Lake.

Thanks for your help in advance
